When you try searching for music videos of famous Mombasa artiste Otile Brown on his You Tube page you will notice that there are none.

A spot check by Baraka FM revealed that no single song from the ‘Niseme Nawe’ hit maker can be found on the popular channel.

Rumors had it that the reason for that move might have been Otile’s beef with his manager Dr. Eddy.

However, speaking to Baraka FM’s Mega breakfast on Thursday,  Otile Brown denied having a rift with his manager.

He also denied that his songs have been removed from YouTube clarifying that the songs have only been made private.

“My songs have not been removed from YouTube. They have only been made private. They have been muted by VEVO. They want to give me a better deal,” he told the Mega breakfast.

Otile said VEVO will take over his accounts just like they have done Ali Kiba and Diamond’s songs.

“I want to move from Ngoma label that are currently uploading my songs to VEVO. Let nobody lie to you that we have disagreed with my manager; everything is fine,” he said.

He however promised to issue an official statement after ‘sorting out’ some issues.

Vevo is an American multinational video hosting service founded on December 8, 2009.

Vevo hosts music videos from both Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment syndicated on YouTube and its website, with Google and Vevo sharing advertising and similar benefits.
