Nairobi, KENYA: Kenyan international Michael Olunga is on the verge of completing a whooping sh. 440 million switch to Chinese club Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.

The lanky forward was last week reported to be the subject of transfer from European clubs; Russian CS Moscow and Turkish side Galatasaray FC with his club IF Djurgarden standing firm not to let leave the striker.

However, according Swedish newspaper Expressen Djurgarden and Guizhou has agreed a deal which will see Olunga switched allegiance to the newly promoted Chinese club.

Olunga joined the Swedish club in 2016 after starring with Gor Mahia in 2015, where he was named the Kenya Premier League Most Valuable Player MVP after leading K’ogalo to their third successive domestic title.

He would then reflect the purple patch run with Djurgarden scoring 12 goals from 13 matches, four goals shy of league top scorer on his debut season.
