Khartoum, SUDAN: Local giants Gor Mahia lost to Sudanese champions Al Hilal by a solitary goal in a preseason friendly match played on Wednesday night at the Khartoum Stadium.
The hosts got the only goal of the match in the 22nd minute avenging a similar defeat they succumbed to when the two sides met in 2016 in the same stadium in another test match.
Gor Mahia used the clash to gauge its new acquisitions as they prepared to face off with League champions Tusker in the DSTV Super Cup on January 28.
K’ogalo is expected back in the country on Thursday, they will later travel to Uganda to take on Onduparaka FC in another friendly match before returning home for the kick-off of the 2017 season.
