Moyes return to Manchester as EPL matches continue with Boxing Day fixtures

Manchester,ENGLAND:English Premier League enter its match week 18 with eight matches scheduled for Boxing Day starting with an early kick off between Crystal Palace and Watford at 1500hrs.

David Moyes returns to Manchester to face his former employer when his charges Sunderland take on Jose Mourinho’s United at the Old Trafford.

Moyes succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 but saw his reign ended shortly after 10 months following a poor run of results.

United seems to have got back their mojo, winning their last three successive matches while Sunderland come into this fixture on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Elsewhere leaders Chelsea will be seeking to write a new club record when they hosts Bournemouth at the Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are on a run of 12 straight wins but will make to do without the services dependable pair striker Diego Costa and midfielder Ngolo Kante both who are suspended.

At the Emirates stadium hosts Arsenal will welcome West Brom.

The Gunners lost their last two matches against Manchester City and Everton thus victory is a must to the Arsene Wenger side.

Other day’s fixtures will see Manchester City play away at struggling Hull City, Leicester will hosts Everton while Swansea will tackle West Ham United.

Liverpool will wait until Tuesday before taking on Stoke City so as Southampton who plays Tottenham Hot Spurs on Wednesday
