Kwale, KENYA: Kwale county is among the counties celebrating 2016 KCPE results with its top student attaining 420 marks out of the possible 500.
The student named Alex Kalama Charo from Redeemed academy in Ukunda, is celebrating his triumph joined by parents, teachers and fellow students at the school.
Kalama has termed the results as success after hard work as he fell short of 10 marks out of his target 430 marks.
“I want to join Alliance high school and after completing my high school studies I want study astrophysics.” Said Kalama.
Redeemed Academy head teacher Elibeth Musila says this year the student have performed better than last year.
She says top student last year had 405 marks with the school getting a total mean score of 340. She says so far the results they have got mean score is 372 marks.
