Mombasa, KENYA: A section of Kamba community elders  from Changamwe Constituency have opposed the appointment of Mr. Philip Ndolo as the Jubilee Party presidential campaign coordinator in the area.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Mr. Ronald Nzwala who is the Jubilee party chairperson in Changamwe said that Mr. Ndolo is a Wiper party member and he has never publicly defected to Jubilee.

“We believe that Ndolo is an opposition mole in Jubilee and we as Kamba elders we will not allow that,” said Mr. Nzwala.

The group accused Mr. Ndolo and his supporters as informers who are there to divulge information to opposition and Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho; so as to destabilize Jubilee campaigns in the area.

“Obviously he is an informant and it defeats logic that Shahbal was incapable of seeing these political strategies by the opposition,” said Mr. Josiah Munyau.

They also opposed Mr. Ndolo’s selection of a Mr. Mwange as his preferred choice for the Changamwe MP seat come 2017.

The group now wants President Kenyatta and his deputy to reverse the appointment of Ndolo, and respect their choices and stop imposing unwanted people on them, to avoid further disgruntlement.
