TV host Jeff Koinange is set to move his Jeff Koinange Live show to another TV station.

In an unexpected announcement he made Thursday night, Koinange bid his viewers goodbye as he informed them that it was his last show on KTN and the show would soon be back on another station.

Last night, the show had gospel artiste Emmy Kosgei and celebrated Nigerian gospel artiste Sinach as guests.

The former CNN journalist has been facing backlash from Kenyans over the past week for what they claim was failure to control his guests, who many claim went overboard.

Kenyans on twitter did not have mercy on him after one of his guests, Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna allegedly told business woman Esther Passaris who has also expressed her intentions to vie for the same seat “Esther you are so beautiful, everyone wants to rape you’’.

Later on, Miguna came out to rebuke Jeff for having recorded him off air and decided to share the video without consent; adding that some parts were edited that showed the real context of why he said the words.

In his farewell message, Koinange admitted to being unable to control his guests but defended himself saying it was not easy .

“About a week ago we had a program which deteriorated into something ugly ; really out of control but there are some people out there who thought I should probably have done a better job controlling the guests and I agree looking back..but in a live television, its always difficult,” Koinange said.

Koinange later apologized to his viewers.
