Nairobi, KENYA: National men’s soccer team Harambee Stars has dropped to position 89 from 85 according to the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday.
This is despite posting positive results recently beating Liberia and Mozambique with a similar score-line of 1-0 on 15th and 12th November respectively in international friendly matches.
Kenya however still remain the second ranked best team in the CECAF region behind Uganda who sits 73rd globally.
Senegal has replaced champions Ivory Coast as the highly ranked team in Africa with the latter coming second ahead of Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria which makes the top five in that order.
Argentina lead globally followed by rising Brazil, world champions Germany, Chile and Belgium respectively as the best top five teams.
