Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya Rugby sevens Shujaa finished second in the Safland 7s tournament after falling 31-10 to South Africa in the main cup finals in Swakopmund stadium, Namibia on Sunday.

Leonard Mugaisi bagged two touchdowns for Kenya while the Cape Town sevens recorded five tries with three conversions to carry the day.

En route to finals Kenya swept all teams before them, beating Namibia 29-5, South Africa All Stars 40-7 and Germany 24-5.

It was a dream start to life at the helm to head coach Innocent Simiyu who took charges mid of November replacing celebrated Benjamin Ayimba whose contract had expired.

Shujaa now turn their attention to the World Sevens circuit set to touch down in Dubai in early December.
