Mombasa, KENYA: Bandari FC youngster Bilal Mohammed Omar has earned his maiden national call up following his impressive outing with the Dockers this season.
Bilal is among the 36 players called up by Harambee Stars Under-20 head coach Ken Kamau for trials ahead of the forthcoming international friendly match against South Africa.
The players were picked during the August holiday Kenya Premier League U20 tournament where Omar turned out for Bandari Youth.
The youngster earned his elevation to Bandar senior team at the start of the current campaign having impressed with Bandari Youth in the previous season.
The trialists are expected to report to camp on Friday where successful players will join the initial squad in readiness for the test match with South Africa scheduled for 26th November.
