Three charged in court for impersonating KCSE candidates

Mombasa, KENYA: Three men were on Wednesday charged in a Mombasa court for impersonating candidates and sitting for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination contrary to the Kenya national examination council act.

The Court heard  that Joash Khaule, Patras Isreal Odhiambo and Joseph Chesa on the 7th day of November,2016 at  Chandaria hall ,within Mombasa county, sat for the exam despite them not having been registered; with the intent to impersonate.

They pleaded not guilty to the charge before Mombasa chief magistrate Teresia Matheka.

The court ordered that the three be released on a sh.500,000 bond  and one surety of a similar amount.

Case will be heard on 5th December 2016.
