Ouma name squad as Starlets set to depart for Cameroon

Nairobi, KENYA: Harambee Starlets’ head coach David Ouma has named the squad which will do duty in the forthcoming Africa Women Cup of Nation AWCON slated for November 19 in Cameroon.

A contingent of 21 players and seven officials are scheduled to leave the country on Friday morning for Yaounde Cameroon to take part in the continental showpiece.

The team however will make to do without the services of dependable forwards Neddy Atieno who joined the Kenya Defence Forces KDF last week and St. Johns’ Mwanahalima Adam who is seating for her KCSE exams.

Kenya will launch its title quest with a tie against Ghana on November 20, before coming up against title holders Nigeria and then take on Mali in its last Pool B match.
