Nairobi, KENYA: The friendly match pitting hosts Harambee Starlets and Egypt which was slated for Friday 1900hrs local at the Kasarani Stadium has been rescheduled to Friday 1430hrs at the same venue.

Football Kenya Federation FKF through its CEO Robert Muthomi confirmed the development on Thursday.

According to a statement by the federation, the decision came about following the visitors request for change of time of the match in order to get enough time to prepare for their departure.

The move is a relief to local fans who had voiced their concern over the timing citing security concerns.

Both teams will be using the match as part of their preparations for the forthcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations to be held in Cameroon starting 19th November.
