Two teenagers nabbed with bhang worth sh 100, 000 in Likoni

Mombasa, KENYA: Police in Likoni on Thursday arrested two suspects with bhang worth sh. 100,000.

The two suspects 17-year-old Erick Emali and 18 –year old Said Omar Mwaya, were arrested near the Approved School by Regular and Administration police after members of public gave them a tip off.

Confirming the arrest, Likoni Deputy police chief Anthony Shimoli said  the public became suspicious when they spotted the suspects with school bags; yet they were in civilian clothes that looked very dirty prompting them to alert the police.

Police are also investigating if the suspects have been selling the bhang to students in the neighboring school.

The two suspects are currently being held at Inuka police station awaiting to be arraigned in court later in the day.
