Kwale,KENYA: Widow of slain preacher Samir Khan has been arrested by detectives in Tiwi kwale county.
Ms Samira Yakub Khan was lured to go to the chief’s office to pick some luggage only to be arrested by plain clothe officers.
She is being accused of terrorism activities in Mombasa and Kilifi counties.
Officer privy to investigations said the suspect is linked to recent foiled attack at central police station.
Msambweni police boss Benjamin Rotich confirmed the arrest but declined to comment further.
Slain preacher Samir Khan, was found dead, in Tsavo Forest in Taita Taveta County on 13th April 2012, three days after he was reported missing.
Two weeks ago, terrorism police arrested the widow of slain preacher Sheikh Aboud Rogo, who was gunned down four years ago.
Ms Hania Said Sagaar was on Monday charged in Shanzu Court and denied charges of failing to disclose information about foiled terrorist attack at Mombasa Central police station on 14th September 2016.
