Lamu, KENYA:The Lamu law court has released on bond a man accused of burglary.
Masuo Lali,28, was released on a Sh.280,000 bond after he was arrested for burglary and stealing household items worth Sh.113,500 on September 10 at Myabogi in Lamu East.
Lali and others who were not before court are said to have broken into Zena Mohamed’s house and stolen gold earrings and necklace and Sh.13,500 which all amounted to Sh.113,500.
He however denied the charge and a hearing has been set for October 5 this year.
Separately,a middle aged man has been arraigned at the Lamu law courts for drug trafficking.
Sagafu Shalo,32, was arrested on September 11 at the Kizingitini market in Lamu East with two sachets of Heroin with a market value of Sh.500.
He denied the charge and was released on a Sh.100,000 bond with two sureties of similar amount.
The case will he heard on October 14.
