Man nabbed with bhang worth sh 300,000 at the Ferry

Mombasa, KENYA: Police in Mombasa have arrested a suspect ferrying bhang worth thousands of shillings to Likoni.

The suspect, Benjamin Kirimi Njeru, was nabbed around the screening area at the Ferry by detectives with large 322 rolls of bhang valued at  sh. 322,000, following a tip off from the public on Sunday, police said.

Likoni Police chief Willy Simba on Monday told Baraka FM Benjamin was intending to  cross to mainland side of Likoni, when he was nabbed and is expected to appear in court once investigations have been done.

The suspect is being held at Likoni Police station at the moment.
