Jubilee affiliate parties dissolved officially to form mega party

Nairobi, KENYA: Jubilee coalition affiliate parties have dissolved officially to form a mega Jubilee party after NDC of various party’s ratified dissolution awaiting for the official launch by his excellency president Uhuru Kenyatta this Saturday.

The dissolved took place at kasarani stadium and Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi on Thursday concurrently, where TNA and URP delegates met and dissolved the parties,New Ford Kenya ,UDF and GNU parties were also dissolved consecutively.

“The meeting of the national delegates convention shall be convened on the 8th day to deliberate on and ratify to matters related to the following agenda ,to consider the motion that the national alliance TNA to resolve to merge with the following parties pursuant to section 11 B of the political parties act.” Out going TNA secretary general Onyango Oloo said.

At Kasarani, majority leader Aden Duale who is a allied to URP, said that dissolution of parties is a key factor in unifying the Kenyan people in bid to shun tribal parties ,sentiments which were echoed by outing URP chair Barre Shill who insisted that the country must have strong parties to unify various communities, strengthen governance and democracy.

The dissolution encompassed mass defections whereby a couple of members of parliament defected from CORD to Jubilee including National Chairman of Ford Kenya John Munyes, who urged his party leader Moses Wetangula to fold up the party and join Jubilee Party.

Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen blasted Bomet governor other parties who have refused to join Jubilee party, including Chama Cha Mashinani party led by Bomet governor Isaac Ruto, indicating that they lack national outfit.
