Mombasa, KENYA: The son of Matuga Member of parliament Hassan Mwanyoha on Monday told Mombasa high court he was suffering in prison and wanted court to hear his appeal as soon as possible.

The court heard that the file was still at the Kwale court where Mafanikio Mwanyoha and Ali Hassan were convicted.

Mafanikio will also wait longer since the secretary assigned to type set the proceedings of lower court is on leave.

The two are currently serving death sentences after they were found guilty for violently robbing tourist by a Kwale court.

The court heard that they stole a bag, an LG mobile phone, a pair of spectacles, a company ID card, and five credit cards, all valued at 125 euros (Sh 14,360).
