· 1kg potatoes
· 1tsp mashed ginger
· 1tsp mashed garlic
· 1tbsp lemon juice
· 1tsp Masala
· ¼kg wheat flour
· ½lit cooking oil
· Food colour opt
Wash and boil your potatoes until well cooked.
Drain excess water and mash them until all are smooth.
Add mashed garlic and ginger together with lemon juice the 1 tablespoon of masala and salt to taste.
Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Roll the mixture up into dumplings and set aside.
Take the ¼kg of wheat flour add salt and food colouring and mix with a little water to make a paste.
In a frying pan, heat ½ litre of cooking oil then take the dumplings dip in the batter as you dip fry them.
Fry until golden brown.
Remove from oil and set them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Garnish with coriander
Serve with chutney.
