Nairobi, KENYA: President Uhuru Kenyatta has assured Kenyans that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Kenya would help boost security, agriculture and health sectors.

Kenyatta on Tuesday  said that several bilateral agreements have been signed though Netanyahu insisted on not revealing details.

Netanyahu said Israel has been supporting Kenya to fight terrorism and has been sharing intelligence information with Kenyan security forces.

“The best way to fight terrorism is reporting any suspect activities to relevant authorities,” he said.

Kenyatta said that Kenya would benefit from Israeli technology to fight cyber crime during the joint press conference with Netanyahu at State House, Nairobi.

“The agreements will allow us to build the capacity of our health systems and professionals in the area of emergency preparedness and resources as well as specialized medical services,” said President Kenyatta ‎.

During their talks there were agreements made that would ensure removal of certain categories of visas.
‎Israel also called for warmer relationship with African Nations.
