Changamwe police boss transferred to Rift valley in new police reshuffle

Mombasa, KENYA: Mombasa county on Teusday got new police commanders in a new reshuffle announced by  the police headquarters in Nairobi.

According to Deputy Inspector General Joel Kitili, 64 police bosses have undergone reshuffle in the whole country.

New Mombasa County Police Commander is Peterson Maelo,a position which was being held by Francis Wanjohi.

Changamwe police boss Joseph Muthee has been transferred to Rift Valley as the new police traffic commander.

Meanwhile Stephen Chateka is the new Changamwe police boss.

Former urban police boss Kipkemboi Rop is the new Taita Taveta police commander.

Malindi and Kilifi  also got new deputy police bosses.

Geoffrey Mayek who was urban OCPD before he was transferred to Nakuru, is the new buruburu OCPD.

Francis Wanjohi remains Coast region police boss.
