London, ENGLAND: Kenyan skipper Victor Wanyama is expected to undergo a medical test at Tottenham Hot Spurs later on Monday ahead of his proposed £11m Tottenham move.
Reports in London reveals talks between his current club Southampton and Tottenham are at an advanced stage with the two sides ironing out the details.
Wanyama has been in Kenya for the past three weeks with the national soccer team Harambee Stars but flown on Sunday to complete the dream switch.
This comes after it was reported in April that Tottenham had revived interest in the Kenya international having failed to sign him last summer.
Should the deal go through, Wanyama will become the third Kenyan player after his elder brother McDonald Mariga and former captain Dennis Oliech to feature in UEFA Champions League football.
