Nairobi, KENYA: Bobby Ogola has officially ditchesd Sportpesa Premier League relegation bound Nairobi City Stars for Muhoroni Youth on a two year contract.
Confirming the development on Monday, Muhoroni Youth club chairman Mosses Adagala who last week refuted rumors linking the tactician with the club heap praised the former Gor Mahia assistant coach as a winner.
Ogola takes over from James ‘Odijo’ Omondi who was relieved of his duties in May in what the club’s heirarchy termed as indiscipline issues.
Having won the Premier League title three-time on the spin while at Gor Mahia including the feted unbeaten 2015 season under the then head coach Frank Nuttal, Ogola is expected to steer the Sugar Belt side to a Top 8 finish by the end of the 2016 campaign.
After the first round of the league, Muhoroni Youth is placed sixth in the standing on 23 points while City Stars are rooted second bottom after amassing only 10 points from the possible 45.
