Kwale, KENYA: A week after Bongwe killings of three Nyumba Kumi elders, Msambweni security bosses have been transfersd.
Msambweni OCPD Joseph Omija and deputy commissioner Mwangangi Mwania were on Friday transfered under Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa’s orders.
This comes after the recent Nyumba Kumi elders killings and varous insecurity incidents which are believed to have been committed by Alshabaab suspects.
Omija has been transferred to Nairobi as the traffic police boss while his counterpart Mwania transferred to Turkana county.

Marwa blamed the police department in Msambweni for failing to curb the insecurity incidents despite them having enough intelligence information.
