M-net has confirmed that the long awaited Big Brother Africa show has been cancelled for the second time due to lack of sponsors.
With the show not happening last year, it was expected to hit the screens this year.
However, according to M-Net’s statement, the acclaimed reality show is not taking place as it is undergoing an evaluation process.
“At the moment, the team is busy re-evaluating the strategic direction of Big Brother Africa. Be assured that when it returns, it will be bigger and better,” reads the statement from M-Net.
It further states: “We wish to thank Big Brother Africa fans far and wide for their continuous support over the past editions and promise that the show will go on, on DStv, with new and exciting productions in store from M-Net.”
The Show has seen participants from Kenya like Prezzo, Huddah Monroe, Alusa, Malonza among others.
