Ali Kiba becomes first East African artist signed to American Sony music label

Ali kiba is the first East African artist to get into a  deal with American based Sony music label, after officially signing with the label on Thursday in South Africa.

The celebrated Bongo artiste has now joined the likes of Davido and Dbanj who have also signed a contract with the international entertainment label, Sony Music.

“My partnership with Sony Music in addition to my already very successful partnership with my management team at ROCKSTAR4000 now completes the team, and solidifies the most powerful proposition and team to take my music to even greater heights, to new audiences and fans across borders and across the world,” said Ali kiba.

Ali kiba is currently enjoying airplay across East Africa with his hit collabo with Kenyan boyband Sauti Sol Unconditionaly Bae among other single hits like Chekecha, and Mwana.

The Chekecha hit maker is set to release his album later this year.
