Mombasa, KENYA: Coast based Sportpesa Premier League side Bandari FC has parted ways with head coach Twahir Muhiddin citing a spate of torrid run of results.
Speaking to Baraka FM, the club’s Team Manager Alfred Achayo confirmed the decision was reached at in a board meeting held on Wednesday where the members resolved to relieve Muhiddin of his duties.
‘’The board was concerned with the club’s dismal performance in recent days thus they decided to terminate Muhiddin’s contract,’’ disclosed Achayo.
Achayo confirmed assistant coach Ken Odhiambo will stand in as they weigh options before appointing a replacement.
Bandari have been winless in their last eight outings, a result that has seen them drop to 12th in the standings win 14 points after 13 rounds.
