Speaking to Baraka FM CIPK organizing Secretary General Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa, termed the happenings as a bad picture not only to the police force, but to the entire nation.

“Yesterday’s incidents depict a bad picture to not only the police force or the government, but to the entire country.” Said Khalifa.

Sheikh Khaliffa added that Kenyans should not look at  Monday’s incident in one angle where police were captured brutally beating protesters, but also to look at  the hooliganism that was happening.

He further insisted on the call for dialogue between the government and the opposition, so as to end the chaos which have been getting worse day by day.

CORD leaders have for the past few Mondays been leading protests at Anniversary towers in Nairobi where IEBC offices are located, wanting them to vacate office.
