Mombasa, KENYA: Proceedings at the Mombasa County Assembly halls were yet again disrupted on Wednesday by a number of MCAs who were against the leadership of the speaker Thadius Rajuay.

After destruction of the mace yesterday (Tuesday), the proceedings were to be conducted with a ‘wooden mace’, however some MCAs opposed and said that it was against the constitution.

The MCASs took the wooden mace and ordered the speaker to adjourn the house until the assembly gets a right mace.

All this time the speaker remained silent and only called for order once a while.

The house was adjourned after two hours of misunderstanding.
