Mombasa, KENYA: Police in Likoni have identified another body of a 22-year-old man that was found lying offshore the Indian ocean.
The body was reportedly discovered by beach boys on Sunday evening who later alerted the police.
Likoni Police chief Wily Simba confirmed to Baraka FM,saying the body had no injuries.
“We are at the final stage of identifying the next of kin,we suspect he drowned but we have started investigations,” said Mr Simba.
Mr Simba urged anyone swimming in the ocean to be extra cautious saying there were strong waves at the moment.
“Anyone with information about the case is asked to report to us,”added the police boss.
The police boss noted that an autopsy will be performed, to uncertain the death the cause of death.
The discovery of the man’s body comes three days only after a body of a secondary girl was found a few metres from the beach,her body was badly mutilated and police suspect she was raped before murdered.
