More illegal Ethiopians migrants nabbed at Likoni Channel

Mombasa, KENYA: Police in Likoni Mombasa have arrested three Ethiopians migrants suspected to be in the country illegally.

The trio were arrested at  the Likoni channel while crossing to south coast.

Police said the suspects were nabbed at the screening machine following a tipoff from members of public.

The trio are Tamasken Hussein Worgu 22,Samuel Demise 22,and Takatal Petros 29,

A Kenyan by the name Aden Abdirhman Abdi 28 who is suspected to be kingpin behind smuggling the migrants were also arrested.

Likoni police Boss Willy Simba confirmed the arrest saying the suspects will be charged in court with offence being in the country illegally.

The arrest comes barely three weeks after 16 other suspects were nabbed while crossing to the channel.
