Nairobi, KENYA: National men’s soccer team Harambee Stars has drop for the third time on the spin in the FIFA Rankings.
According the latest Rankings released on Thursday Kenya moved from position 115th it held in April to position 116.
The latest development can be attributed to the team’s lack of active football last month since shambling in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers where they lost to Guinea Bissau in a two legged affair.
Neighbors Uganda who sits 72nd globally remain the best ranked team in East Africa region followed by Rwanda at position 87 while Burundi and Ethiopia occupy positions 122 and 123 respectively.
Algeria, Ivory Coast,Ghana, Senegal and Egypt are the highly ranked teams in Africa in that order while Argentina leads globally followed by Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Germany in that order.
