After winning court case Mombasa activist says he will vie for political seat

Mombasa activisty who has been on lime light Kalinga Mgandi has declared his bid to vie for a political seat.

Mgandi told Baraka FM on Friday that he will via for the MCA seat in Mtongwe ward in Likoni constituency in the coming general election.

He contested the seat in 2013 on a URP ticket but emerged position three.

“Am stil consulting and soon i will inform my people the party I will  use to contest for the seat,” he said.

Mr. Kalinga claimed that current MCA Khamisi Musa Mwindani is not doing enough to the residents of Mtogwe and he will unseat him.

Kalinga emerged victorious on Thurday after a misuse of telecommunication charge facing him was withrawn in a Mombasa court.

This was after nominated senator Emma Mbura sued him for sending her abusive audio clip through Whatsapp after what was alleged  as love affair gone sour.
