Even after winning four awards in groove 2015 Bahati Tena is nowhere to be found in this year’s nomination list not forgetting his “ally” Willy Paul.
Rumors have it that the two award winning gospel musicians have been involved in numerous scandals in the past years, making them miss out on this year’s nomination list.
To start with Bahati who at a certain point tempted his fans to quit music days before he released his hit song Story Yangu featuring Deno which he allegedly portrayed Daddy Owen’s in a bad way by saying he killed Deno’s music dreams.
For the Sijafika hit maker he has been mentioned several times on scandals involving women, drunkenness and the recent collaboration with the secular boy band Sauti Sol in their song “Take it slow”.
The Groove Awards Nomination ceremony took place on Tuesday night at Kenya National Theater with a number of artistes gracing the red carpet.
