Mombasa, KENYA: A man on Friday was charged in a Mombasa law court for the offence of unlawfully trafficking six Ethiopians.
Robert Msando Meti was arrested on Thursday at Kenya Ferry Services trafficking Ethiopians who did not have any valid documents.
The accused denied charges before principal Magistrate Diana Mochache.
He was released on a surety bond of Ksh. 100,000 pending hearing of the case.
The six Ethiopions were not charged due to lack of an Ethiopian interpreter in court, they will be remanded at Shimo la Tewa until Monday when they will be charged in court.
This case will be heard on 16 June.
