Mombasa, KENYA: Region representatives at the ongoing Kenya Secondary School Sports Association (KSSSA) Term One games; Aga Khan from Mombasa booked a semi-finals slot in the boys’ Baskeball category.

The Region’s champions recorded their second victory in as many matches after they clobbered Kangaru from North Region 48-39 at Friends School Kamusinga in Bungoma County on Wednesday.

The result means Aga Khan will take to court against fellow Pool leaders Nakuru Region outfit Kapenguria Boys in a group toppers’ duel in their last match.

In boys’ hockey, St Charles Lwanga from Coast settled for a 1-1 draw with Upper Hill of Nairobi while title holders Nakuru returned to their winning streaks with a 2-0 triumph over Maseno from Lake Region.

Meanwhile, Tigoi Girls cruised to semifinal after stunning Coast Region’s St Johns 3-1 to go top of pool A with six points from two matches as Sinyolo revived their hopes with a 2-1 win over Kapkolei from Mau region.

Kerugoya Girls and Misikhu Girls are riding high in pool B after garnering six points from their opening two matches and a duel pitting them will only decide who top the group going into semifinals.

The games will climax on Saturday.
