American RnB superstar Keri Hilson will be the talent mentor in this years music talent of the second edition of “Airtel Trace Music Star” set to take place in Kenya.
With Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia and Niger joining, this year’s edition its expected to be bigger than any other.
Speaking at the event to announce the news on Saturday, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said:
“We are pleased to partner with TRACE to bring to you season two of the Airtel TRACE Music Star where we are once again providing an exciting platform for Kenyan youth to showcase their talent in Africa’s “coolest” music competition.This underscores our commitment to creating platforms that celebrate and reward young, talented people,”
Last year’s mentor of the “Trace Music Star” was celebrated American musician Akon and the event saw the likes of Kenyan musician Webi rise to stardom.
