Just after loosing her husband René Angélil to Cancer on Thursday, Céline Dione has yet again lost his brother Daniel to the same disease.
According to a tweet posted by Celine’s official Twitter account, 59-year- old Daniel, died Saturday morning after a long battle against cancer.
Daniel had been suffering from throat, brain and tongue cancer.
He was in hospital in Celine’s native Montreal and surrounded by his family, including 88-year-old mother Therese, Daily Mail reports.
The 47-year old musician has had to cancel most of her shows ever since the sad news of losing two close people in her life.
René was 73 when he passed away on Thursday, just two days before his 74th birthday and a month after the couple’s 21st wedding anniversary.
On the other hand, David was the eighth child of the 14 children Thérèse and Adhémar Dion (Céline’s parents) had.
