15 cases of cholera outbreak have been reported in Mombasa County.
A Mombasa Public health officer confirmed to Baraka FM Thursday that among the fifteen cases, three were reported in Likoni, six in Mvita, three in Kisani and four in Changamwe.
In Likoni the victims; a woman and two children have been admitted at Mrima Health Center where they are undergoing treatment.
Medics at the health facility confirmed the three had signs of Cholera after they complained of stomachache and headache pains
A special tent manned by Doctors without borders from Vijiweni have been erected outside the health facility to deal with the situation.
Likoni DC Rose Chege however directed chiefs in the sub county to ensure residents have clean toilets in order to avoid the spread of the outbreak.
