Tusker Fc unveiled nine new players on Wednesday at their homeground in Ruaraka ahead of Kenya Premier League kick-off.
The nine are goalkeeper David Okello,midfielder Anthony Ekaliani Ndolo and Collins Shivachi all from Sofapaka.
Others are Kenyan International attacker based in France Louis Misiko(OGC France).
Martin Kiiza (AFC Leopards ) has also made a return to the club where he featured before moving to Ingwe.
left full -back Fred Nkata(City Stars),midfielder Jackson Macharia (Thika United),ugandan Shafik Batambuze (Western Stima),and defender Laban Gambareko.
Paul Nkata has also been unveiled as the Tusker Fc Coach succeeding Francis Kimanzi who left for Mathare.
Assistant Coach is George Ooko,Charles Omondi Korea is the goalkeeper trainer and George Opondo is the team’s manager.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony ,Coach Nkata , a Ugandan was delighted to join the club and termed his appointment as an exciting challenge to deliver results for the club.
“I am delighted with this appointment as it offers an exciting opportunity for me to prove and actualize the club’s potential in regaining top glory in the Kenyan Premier League standing,” he said.
He has also promised to win the league this season as well as other titles.
However,Nkata expressed his fears for Bandari FC saying that the Coast based team is the greatest threat this season following their new acquisitions.
The club has however, released nine players upon the conclusion of their contractual obligations.
Among those released include Jesse Were ,Kelvin Kimani,Jockins Atudo,Emmanuel Ngama,Aziz Kemba,Fredrick Onyango,Dennis Nzomo,Dennis Nganga and Abdallah Juma.
