President Uhuru Kenyatta Friday issued more than 2000 title deeds to squatters in Faza, Lamu County.
This comes a day after the President issued 868 title deeds at Mkunumbi area of Lamu on Thursday.
The event also follows the cancellation of title deeds of more than 300,000 acres of lands in the county.
Lands Cabinet Secretary Joseph Kaimenyi cancellation the titles following the expiry of the lands lease period.
President Uhuru will Saturday issue over 5,000 title deeds to residents living in the controversial Waitiki land in Likoni, Mombasa.
However, the Saturday event is facing opposition from some residents who claimed that the rate of ksh 180,000 being imposed on them as fee was exorbitant.
