Three Sudanese suspected to be robbing people in Nairobi were Thursday arraigned in a Kibera Law Court and charged with robbery, human trafficking and being in Kenya illegally.

Ismail Juma Adam,Mohamed Elmutasim and Ahmed Haisam Elmkashfi were  arraigned before Kibera’s Senior Principal Magistrate Lucas Onyina where they denied two counts of charges.

The three who were armed committed the offences jointly with others not before the court between  20th November and 6th December 2015 at Sky View Park Apartments Ltd room number 5 04 in Kilimani within Nairobi County,

While armed with dangerous weapons namely a pistol and handcuff,  the accused violently robbed Mohammed Hassan Elhassan of his Republic of Sudan passport, one Samsung phone worth US$ 300 and other personal belongings worth 1,000 US dollars.

They were also accused of abducting the victim Mohammed Hassan Elhassan for financial gain.

However, the gang leader Ahmed Haisam Elmkashfi  was charged with unlawfully being in the country .

He is alleged to have been found in Dandora Estate phase IV within Nairobi County on 5TH Januray, 2016 without valid documents.

The accused pleaded guilty to the charge.

Senior Principal Magistrate Onyina ordered all the accused to remain in custody till Monday 11th January ,2016 when the case will be mentioned and decision on bail terms issued.
