A cruise ship with more than 1,000 tourists docked early Saturday at the Port of Mombasa.
The tourists including ship crews aboard Ms Seven Seas Voyager were received by Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Najib Balala and top Kenya ports authority and Kenya Tourism Board officials.
Balala termed this as a major tourism boast and a great start for Mombasa and the Coast region in general.
Balala said efforts to build a dedicated berth for Cruise Ships at the Port will go along way in reviving and boasting cruise tourism in the country.
Ms Seven Seas Voyagar was in her first return journey at the Port this year.
