Gor Mahia's Head Coach Bobby Williamson

Gor Mahia speedy winger Innocent Wafula has finally earned an international call up after being named in Bobby Williamson’s 31 – man squad to face Cape Verde in World Cup qualifier in November.

Riding on purple patch this season, Wafula’s inclusion in Stars squad is of no surprise but until he plays for Kenya, he is eligible to represent Uganda.

Belgium based keeper Arnold Origi who missed Stars’ two-legged tiewith Mauritius in World cup preliminary qualifier last month also made a comeback in Williamson’s squad that will as well participate in Cecafa senior challenge cup next month.
