After being in the country for the past two weeks, famous Jamaican stars; Morgan Heritage group have found a home in Kenya and are considering applying for Citizenship.

“We are going to look for President Kenyatta because we want to get Kenyan passports. By the grace of God we will soon have our home in Kenya,” said Gramps Morgan, the eldest group member during the ‘The10minutes of your Time’ forum with the Youth Enterprise development Fund at the University of Nairobi on Friday.

Currently based in the US, the group is on the process of setting up a mega state-of-the-art music recording company in Nairobi, where all of its African operations will be based.

“We have been to many parts of the world, including South Africa, Nigerian and Senegal, but there’s nowhere else we feel at home than in Kenya. We’ve got just a few more years left to live in the West. We are officially coming to make Kenya our home,” added Gramps Morgan.

After taking down KICC during the extravaganza concert with their famous hits such as “Don’t haffi Dread”, the group has been engaging in several charity activities, TV interviews and nobody knew the main reason as to why they were still around; Well now we know why.

“We are here because we feel at home and we want to be a part of the development of Africa. The youth need jobs and positivity. Africa is the future. Africans move to America every day. Now it’s time for Americans like us to come back home.” Said Mojo Morgan; one of the group members.
