Bandari blew away their chances of leapfrogging Sofapaka on the log after letting slip a 1-0 lead to settle for a one all draw with relegation threatened Nakuru All Stars in a Kenya Premier match played on Sunday at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

Fresh from a 2-1 triumph over AP Bomet in the Gotv Shield Cup tournament last weekend, Bandari took the game to the hosts with their efforts paying off in the 24thminute through Antony Kimani who beat AllStars defenders before drilling home.

Poor defending from Bandari saw AllStars retaliate in the 75th minute through substitute Bebeto Lwamba who rammed home from twelve yards after Sharrif Mohammed was judged to have handled the ball in the in the box.

Bandari’s efforts to score a winning goal turned futile following the hosts’ solid defending that helped them salvaged a point to bring their tally to 19 but still remain bottom.

Bandari stays sixth on 42 points, one shy of third placed Sofapaka with two matches to spare.

Elsewhere, AFC Leopards settled for a 1-1 stalemate with Sofapaka the same score-line recorded by Muhoroni Youth and Ushuru FC, while Nairobi City Stars revived their survival hopes with a 1-0 win over KCB.
