Motorists across the country can smile their way into pump stations for the next one month, after the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced a historic kshs 9.36 drop in petrol price per liter.
The price review, usually dependent on the international oil prices, however saw the prices of Diesel and Kerosene increased by ksh 2 and 3.50 per liter respectively.
For the next one month, Super petrol will cost Ksh 80.53 from ksh 89.89 in Mombasa.
The announcement of changes of petroleum pump prices for the period 15th October to 14th November, will see the cost of Diesel increasing by Ksh 2.44 Liter and Kerosene by Ksh 3.49 per Litre.
Pump price for Kerosene will now go for sh,53.32 per liter in Mombasa , Ksh 53.53 per liter in Kilifi and 54.22 per liter in Malindi
Diesel goes for ksh 79.15 per liter in Mombasa, ksh.79.36 in Kilifi and ksh.80.05 in Malind.
