Kenya climbs a step higher in Rugby World ranking

Kenya’s Simba have moved one place up in the latest World Rugby Rankings from position 28 to 27 on 55.89 points.

Despite not being active in the global scene, Kenya benefited from other teams’ dismal performance in the ongoing Rugby World Cup which resulted in them dropping points.

According to the IRB ranking , South Africa’s Spring Box is the best ranked team in the continent on 84.58 points, followed by Namibia(61.75) and Zimbabwe(56.16) while Kenya sit fourth.

World’s defending champions New Zealand remained at the helm with 92.89 points, while Australia, Ireland, Wales and South Africa seals the top five spots respectively.
