Dickson Chumba romped into victory to claim men’s race at the 2015 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday.
Chumba who made a name for himself in 2014 with a win and a course record at the Tokyo Marathon, crossed the tape in 2:9:25 winning his first ever Chichago Marathon.
Despite not breaking the course record, the latter expressed his contention with the victory having fell third in the 2014 edition with a new personal best of 2:04:32.
Compatriots Sammy Kitwara and Sammy Ndungu finished second and third respectively.
Elsewhere, Florence Kiplagat clocked 2:23:33 to win in the women category.
